Has anyone tried using an OBD I IAT sensor in the JR intake manifold with stock OBD II ECU? If so, what's your experience or problems with such setup? I want the ECU to see the actual intake temp instead of the temp from the air intake tube. Hopefully the true intake air temp data will aid in tuning of the JRSC setup. I realize the actual higher temp can cause the ignition timing to retard and A/F to run leaner. However, I think it's possible to use the J&S v2 to reduce the amount of timing retard and use the MAP limiter or ZIP's EBL to change injector duty cycles. The MAP sensor is already hookup to the intake to see boost, and I'm also planning to install the Hondata intake heatshield gasket once it's available. What do you think?
